What is a Virtual Assistant (VA)?

Are you tired of been snowed under by urgent tasks and not getting round to the really important work? You may need a VA!

A Virtual Assistant is a self-employed professional offering remote administrative support to small businesses on an hourly, project-specific or ongoing basis. More and more business owners are relying on a Virtual Assistant to free up their time, enabling them to concentrate on core business activities making them more efficient.

There is no need to share office space as the VA can work remotely using all the modern methods of communication from their own office. You can delegate a huge variety of tasks from Payroll, to invoicing, to minute-taking at meetings. A VA is self-employed so you are free from employer liabilities, tax and benefits issues. For a detailed list of the services usually provided by Sorted by Mandy, see the Services page.
